President Steve Bahls credits Lydia Ruelas Duran '05 for questioning his plans for diversity in 2004 and encouraging him to do more.

He appreciates all he has learned from others and the progress Augustana has made in diversity, equity and inclusion in recent years, but he knows there is much more work to be done.
